Thuja Capital is an early-stage Venture Cap in medtech and biotech with a leading team of PhDs and industry experts who use their expertise to make smart investment decisions at the earliest stages of a proposition.
With a keen eye for paradigm shifting ideas, Thuja invests in healthcare innovation, from start-up to scale-up. They build sustainable value by supporting the development of novel therapies in areas of high unmet medical need.
In the run-up to the next funding round the moment seemed right for Thuja to improve their visual appearance and presentation, to both investors and start-ups/scale-ups. The company’s shift from ‘the old’ to ‘the new’ needed to be reflected in the new identity.
The new identity should also underline their position as a trustworthy investor. Therefore the goal was to create a clear and eye-catching presence among competitors in a world visually dominated by stock photos and clinical colors.

The logo is constructed with basic symmetrical shapes that return in playful illustrations that play an important functional and expressive role within the visual identity.
By carefully balancing grit and playfulness, we created a compelling visual identity that communicates trust, innovation, and approachability to investors and start-ups alike. Combined with a strong typographic voice and a vibrant color palette the visual language comes to life.
